The Best Business Hotels Near Cypress Grove Park, Orlando

Which Orlando hotel suits a work trip? It depends on three things: where the first meeting sits, how early the flight leaves, and whether the evening is for clients or for sleep. I spent years on a concierge desk in an old grand hotel, and the question business guests asked most was never about the lobby. It was whether they could sleep and work in the same room. Below, five hotels for a stay near Cypress Grove Park are sorted by base: airport terminal, airport edge, convention corridor and downtown. Every distance is measured from a fixed point: the airport, the Orange County Convention Center, Church Street Station or the Kia Center.

How to Choose a Business Base

Orlando splits into working bases, and each is a trade between commute and everything else. Airport bases win on early flights. The convention corridor wins when the badge says Orange County Convention Center. Downtown wins when the evening is the meeting.

Terminal-Level Base at Orlando International Airport

Orlando International Airport is 18 km from the city centre and takes most arrivals. Terminals A and B share one building, while Terminal C stands apart and holds the Brightline station. The Terminal Link people mover runs 24 hours between Terminal B and that train station. LYNX Links 11 and 51 head toward downtown, Link 42 toward International Drive, and a single ride costs $2.00. On the desk I learned that the most expensive minute a business guest buys is the one at 5 a.m. when the car is late. A terminal address removes it.

Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport Hotel

Stay here if the 6 a.m. flight sets the day; you trade proximity to everything beyond the terminal. This hotel sits inside the main terminal beside an airline ticket counter, and it is where to stay at Orlando airport for the shortest transfer.

  • Gain: 24-hour fitness centre, restaurant, bar, and a coffee maker and beverage cooler in the room.
  • Lose: 28.6 km to Walt Disney World, 21.5 km to SeaWorld Orlando, 12.6 km to Florida Mall.

Guests always asked me whether they could eat late; the house restaurant and bar answer that. My pick for a one-night turnaround: this hotel, with a room away from the elevator.

Airport-Edge Suites for Shuttle Runs

Brightline's Orlando station sits in the Terminal C complex, with trains south to West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami; the lowest one-way fares start at $39 on SMART Saver. For drivers, most toll plazas are cashless, so collect the free Visitor Toll Pass at Terminal A Level 1, Terminal B Level 1 or Terminal C Level 4 and decline the rental company's toll program. I favour that route because it keeps the receipt clean on an expense report. An airport-edge hotel suits a day that mixes a rental car with an early flight.

2

Cambria Hotel Orlando Airport

Photos

Stay here for the shuttle-and-desk combination; you trade the terminal address for a 1 km hop. Cambria Hotel Orlando Airport (Booking.com) is 1 km from Orlando International Airport and runs a free airport shuttle.

  • Gain: a business area, an American-cuisine restaurant, bar and lounge, plus a fitness centre and a year-round outdoor pool.
  • Lose: 16 km to Universal Studios Florida and 8 km to Florida Mall.

Guests single out the airport connectivity and the cleanliness. My pick for one meeting and one evening: Cambria, with a higher floor if one is free.

from US$101 per night

Convention Corridor Base for International Drive

The Orange County Convention Center is at 9800 International Drive. The corridor's own convention hotels, such as Hyatt Regency Orlando and the Rosen Centre, line that strip, and LYNX Links 42 and 311 serve it. I would not assume you must sleep on the strip itself. A hotel 14.1 km away with a convention transfer can be the sensible choice when the badge is the only thing you need from the neighbourhood.

3

Comfort Suites Orlando International Airport

Photos

Stay here for the convention badge; you trade a short walk for a surcharged transfer. This all-suite hotel is 9 minutes' drive from the airport with a free airport transfer, and the Orange County Convention Center is 14.1 km away. Reviews are on Tripadvisor ↗.

  • Gain: a business center, a 24-hour front desk, a hot breakfast buffet, a microwave and mini-refrigerator in each suite, two pools.
  • Lose: the convention transfer carries a surcharge; extended parking after check-out costs a fee.

Ask the desk when the buffet opens before a long show day. My pick for a trade-show week: Comfort Suites, since the suite and the transfer solve two problems at once.

Downtown Base: Church Street and the Kia Center

Downtown is compact. Along Orange Avenue sit the Dr. Phillips Center, the Kia Center, Inter&Co Stadium, the History Center and City Hall, with Church Street's restored 1880s depot area nearby. The History Center occupies the 1927 Orange County Courthouse on Heritage Square, about 9 minutes' walk from Lake Eola. If you read cities through their buildings, this is the district to walk. SunRail stops at Church Street on weekdays only, and LYMMO circulator buses link the venues.

4

Hilton Garden Inn Orlando Downtown

Photos

Stay here for downtown meetings on foot; you trade airport speed for 16 km to Universal Studios Florida. The hotel is a 14-minute walk from Church Street Station, 1.5 km from the Kia Center (listed as Amway Center) and 1.8 km from Exploria Stadium. details ->

  • Gain: a work desk and free WiFi in the room, a restaurant with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, 24-hour front desk, pool, bar and lounge.
  • Lose: the airport sits well out of walking range, so budget a car or bus.

My pick for two nights of back-to-back meetings: this one, with the desk room first.

from US$136 per night

Downtown Base for Client Dinners

Thornton Park, east of Lake Eola, is the client-dinner district: brick streets and cafés, with Osteria Ester (Italian-American) and June (Mexican) both MICHELIN-selected, and Kaya (Filipino) on the same list. Book ahead, as Kaya is listed as booking essential. On game nights at the Kia Center the roads thicken, so I schedule dinners before 6 p.m. or after tip-off.

5

The Delaney Hotel

Photos

Stay here for the client dinner; you trade a short walk for a bar and restaurant under your own roof. The Delaney is 1.9 km from Church Street Station, a 17-minute walk to Downtown Orlando and 2.3 km from the Kia Center (listed as Amway Center). Its official site ↗ carries the booking.

  • Gain: a work desk, city views, free WiFi, American, local and international dining with brunch, lunch and dinner, a cocktail bar and room service.
  • Lose: 13 km to Universal Studios Florida; Church Street is a longer walk than from Hilton Garden Inn.

My pick when you are the host: The Delaney, and ask for a city-view room.

After Hours: Stage and Glass

The Dr. Phillips Center at 445 S. Magnolia Avenue carries the late-year bill: Air Supply on 19 November, Blade Runner Live on 21 November and Orlando Ballet's The Nutcracker on 4 December. In Winter Park, the Morse Museum holds Louis Comfort Tiffany's leaded glass and the chapel interior he designed for the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Admission is free on Friday evenings from November to April. On weekdays SunRail covers Church Street to Winter Park in 16 minutes.

Event Nights That Change Your Commute

Your hotel choice interacts with the Kia Center calendar. The Orlando Magic host the Washington Wizards on 2 November, Olivia Rodrigo plays on 15 November, and Camping World Stadium stages the Florida Classic on 21 November. The Kia Center sells parking for these dates, which tells me nearby streets fill. An airport or convention base avoids that. A downtown base turns it into a walk.

Orlando Magic vs. Washington Wizards at the Kia Center

Daytime Rooms: Museums and Gardens

Loch Haven Park groups the Orlando Museum of Art, the Orlando Science Center and the Mennello Museum within a few minutes' walk of each other. The Museum of Art is free on the third Thursday of each month, with hours into the evening; otherwise adult admission is $20. The Mennello opens free on the second Sunday. Harry P. Leu Gardens holds the 1888 Mizell-Leu House in Florida vernacular style, though the house museum is temporarily closed. Garden admission is $15 for adults, and Dazzling Nights lights the grounds on 20 November.

Moving Between Bases

Moving between bases costs little. A single LYNX ride is $2.00 with a free transfer for 90 minutes, and an all-day pass is $4.50. SunRail's one-county fare is $2.00, but it runs weekdays only and does not serve the airport. Orange County hotel tax adds 12.5 percent to room rates. To compare other stays, browse Orlando hotels and apartments or the wider Orlando hotel listings. I tell colleagues to price the whole transfer, not just the room.

November Conditions and Costs

November is Orlando's driest month: average high 25.7°C, low 14.6°C, and 45 mm of rain. Daylight saving time ends on the first Sunday of November, which was 1 November in 2026, so sunsets arrive an hour earlier. Hurricane season runs to 30 November, so I book a cancellable rate. Orlando drew a record 76.7 million visitors in 2025, which is why I book early.

Verdicts by Traveller Type

  • Early flight, single meeting: Hyatt Regency at the terminal.
  • Rental car and shuttle logistics: Cambria Hotel Orlando Airport.
  • Convention week: Comfort Suites Orlando International Airport.
  • Back-to-back downtown meetings: Hilton Garden Inn Orlando Downtown.
  • Hosting clients: The Delaney Hotel.

My own setup: Hilton Garden Inn for two nights, a work desk in the room, the 14-minute walk to Church Street Station, and SunRail on a weekday for Winter Park meetings. No hotel paid to be here; the comparison rests on each property's published specs. Prices and availability can change, so confirm when booking.
